This section is informational to give you a clear overview of what we provide for the authors we publish.
Every book we publish must go through the editing process first before it can be designed. This is our standard to ensure quality.
Please note: We do not offer a separate book design service for books we do not intend to publish.
We also do not design parts and pieces of books, such as book covers alone or interiors only, if you intend to self-publish or take your book elsewhere for publication. This section is informational to give you a clear overview of what we provide for the authors we publish.

If you have a manuscript you can see being published into a book, it must first be accepted for publication and then edited. After the book has undergone the full editing process and the words are fully complete, interior book designs are always formatted for proper printing requirements, whether your book is in paperback or hardcover.

Professional, custom book layout: We don’t use any pre-designed templates in our book design work. This means your manuscript is unique, designed specifically for your book, inspired by your subject matter.

Formatted for distribution: Our team of book artisans ensures your entire book, including your book cover, meets all the correct formatting specifications required from our book distribution channels.

Participate in the book design steps right from the beginning: Ongoing one-on-one calls throughout the book design process from interior layouts to print-ready ensure the vision you’re holding matches your final book.

Book ornaments, interior book graphics, and image restoration: Includes personalized book ornament sets, line art, blueprints, charts, graphs or artistically illustrated graphics. We can fix any illustrations, art, or pictures inside your book with image manipulation, restoration, preparation, or colorization.

Your book cover should say everything that your book is about, because it’s the first impression people will get. It determines whether or not they will pick it up off the shelf, look inside, and buy it.
Advanced
Working in partnership: Working together, we provide guidance to harmonize your cover/back/spine design, or just a front cover for an e-book. Your book cover is uniquely designed, which includes your front cover only for an e-book or front, back, and spine for the full print book.
Intermediate
Artwork, dust jackets, and cover flaps: Each are designed specifically for your book. Most authors provide their own artwork by collaborating with an artist. Commissioning artwork for your book is a separate process and should be provided to us when we work together.

Basic
Once your final book design is approved, we start creating a final print-ready version. A “print-ready” version of your manuscript is a completed file that has all the final specifications necessary to send to the printer. This is the final file that is sent to the printer.
Intermediate
Print on Demand: This is our primary source of printing, and most popular and trusted way to distribute our titles. This is a process where books are only printed when the customer orders them. Please submit your manuscript for further inquiry about the benefits of Print On Demand and how it works. We distribute books worldwide using select manufacturers and printers in addition to this process, which includes distribution to Amazon and bookstores.
Advanced
Local print: Sometimes authors will do a small internal print run; for example, for smaller workshops, a seminar, speaking engagement or an internal/private event. Local prints are more customized. We discuss your audience, market needs, your business plan, your goals, and vision.

Volume orders: We ship books to you for events and book signings depending on our unique marketing strategy when we work together.

Specialized paper: We discuss your book’s printing needs with different paper stock options. As we grow, post-consumer recycled paper will be a more readily available option in the near future.

Specialty hardcover versions or special editions: Specialty versions or hardcover versions can also be offered to enter into book contests, or for the author’s own leisure.
e-books
Basic
The most effective strategy is to make your book available in multiple formats. This ensures that your book is available to the broadest possible audience in the format they prefer. Each book we publish comes standardized with one paperback and one e-book version. Sometimes we publish e-books alone or other formats in addition to these, depending on the book marketing strategy, such as a special edition, hardcover, or audiobook.
Intermediate
Our proprietary Global Reach program includes e-book distribution to Amazon Kindle, Apple iBooks, Barnes & Noble, Kobo with Chapters-Indigo Canada, and thousands of e-libraries and online bookstores across the globe.
Advanced
Once we work together we may want to create an e-book that is included in our overall publishing strategy or an e-book only.
audiobooks
Basic
At this time we are slowly working to grandfather in our most consistently selling books into audiobook production. Book sales must reach a certain threshold before we will consider creating an audiobook.
